Nursery Cook

Sutton

Hours: 9.30am – 1.30pm

To provide the overall, smooth running and organisation of the kitchen, whilst being able to work well within a team.  Help to ensure that a wide choice of nutritional meals are offered and help to introduce changes to improve progress and success of the nursery.

Responsibilities:

• To provide at all times with paramount importance a safe and secure environment.
• To provide a nutritional and balanced diet which is healthy and varied.
• To be able to work well within a team and be able to follow training programmes and carry out tasks using your own initiative.
• To keep records up to date and in line with current legislation.
• To ensure appropriate stock control and rotation is maintained and discussed with the manager.
• To communicate in an effective and professional way ensuring all messages and concerns are discussed with the manager.

This role will be situated in a small nursery and will suite an individual who has a passion for cooking.  No professional experience is required, however the candidate must hold a Basic Food Hygiene Qualification.
