Contracts and Performance Officer

Temporary Contract (3 months)

£11.78 per hour

This role will predominantly be located within Sutton Police Station and situated in the Community Safety team, and will provide a range of performance management, clienting and contract management across the Safer and Stronger Communities area and wider Directorate.  It will include establishing datasets, reporting systems, and participating in and support business process re-engineering and systems change.

Duties will involve collecting and analysing information from a variety of sources and preparing basic reports/analysis to support the delivery of services, together with contract/commission and administrative services.

Ideally, this will suit someone who can hit the ground running that can demonstrate an experience the following skills:

• Data Analyst
• Performance management
• Contract management
• Local Government and/or Partnership working is desirable
• Project/Commissioning experience will also be desirable 

A high degree of numeracy and analytical skills will be required, together with an understanding of crime, crime reduction and the issues surrounding community safety and partnership working. Applicants must be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure, including meeting conflicting deadlines and managing a number of complex tasks simultaneously. Experience of administrative support, including the taking and recording of accurate minutes, report writing and in dealing with enquiries both verbally and in writing will also be required.

The successful candidate will also need to undergo an enhanced security vetting process done by the Met Police for access/entry to the Police station.
