Part-Time School Transport Chaperones

Morden

£8.21 per hour

Within this role you will be assisting in the transporting of vulnerable children to and from school.

You will be required to assist the driver in the operation of equipment, including wheelchairs, tie-downs, seat belts, harnesses, mechanical lift and other adaptive equipment.

Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to communicate with crew member, parents and children.  Knowledge of Makaton would be an advantage.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be trustworthy, well-presented and friendly
• Be very punctual and highly responsible
• Enjoy working with children and have initiative
• Must have a reasonable level of English

Appointed candidates must have or be willing to take an Enhanced clear DBS check before commencing work.
