Older Persons Housing Officer

Temporary £11.35 per hour
** Applicants must hold a current valid UK full driving licence and have access to a motor vehicle **
*** Must have DBS Certificate ***
Within this role you will deliver a hands-on older persons housing service to tenants who are identified as needing additional help to sustain their tenancies. You will promote, encourage and enable independent housing for older people by providing risk led intensive housing related services.
Duties include:
- Liaising with residents to provide assistance and guidance
- Completing annual reviews of Housing Plans
- Keeping records
- Dealing with enquiries, comments or complaints
- Provide on-site surgery for advice
- Visiting residents on a regular basis
- Reporting faults within properties
- Assist the Allocations Officer and carry out viewings with prospective new tenants
- Produce notices, leaflets and newsletters for scheme notice boards
