Materials Controller

Wembley

£23,100 per annum

Working in a team of 4 staff on a rota basis reporting to the Logistics Team Leader.

Rota hours: Monday to Saturday 6.45am to 2.15pm, Monday to Thursday 2.15pm to 9.45pm & 1 in every four Sunday for < 1hour.

Job description:

  • Replenish & Maintain the supply of materials to the production machines in an  accurate and timely manner
  • Responsible for the destruction of sensitive materials
  • Working within a card issuing location environment to issue cards accurately according to demand
  • Investigate and rectify any card discrepancies before the end of the shift
  • Notify the Supply Chain team leader of any issues with materials or cards
  • Counting deliveries of cards within timelines
  • Ensuring all despatch of envelopes is maintained & actioned correctly & within time
  • Operating a megamat machine to store/locate/maintain and pick material stock.
  • Accurate uses of ERP system to move manage and maintain stocks within the system on time.
  • Daily cycle counting of cards and materials in warehouse and despatch
  • General Housekeeping in warehouse /production areas/card issuing location/ despatch and yard
  • Disposal of waste and recycling from the production and warehouse floors &Baling of cardboard
  • General Warehouse duties Inc. accurate Warehouse picking and movement of stock in sap system
  • Fork lift duties [ FLT Licence desirable ]
  • Movement of physical materials from warehouse to production and stock replenishment
  • Experience of fast moving warehouse and production environments
  • Experience of working within a  team environment
  • Effective Communication of low stocks and stock related issue to the logistics team leader
  • Fully comply with and observe all company policies and work instructions
  • Fully comply with health & safety & security instructions
  • Comply with Rotas
  • Job rotation between shifts to cover Warehouse/despatch/ card issuing location/ Kanban replenishment areas
  • 5s audits to be completed
  • Reporting of near misses

  • Megamat experience but not necessary
