Device Admin Assistant

Kingston Upon Thames

Temporary Contract: £11.28 per hour

Our client is looking to attract good administrators, who are well organised and preferably have worked on a device roll out or within a busy IT project team.  The client is upgrading all end user devices (laptops and desktops) to Windows 10, and they require an outgoing admin assistant to support the project team and liaise with their customers and the 3rd party deployment partner. 

This role will be extremely fast passed and they need a candidate who can go in and hit the ground running.   The ideal candidate will preferably have previous experience of working on projects with a high degree of appointment scheduling and user interaction.

Duties to include:

  • Engaging with customer contacts to plan deployment schedule
  • Booking rooms and resources for deployment sessions
  • Primary day to day point of contact for the deployment service provider (3rd party)
  • Resolution of deployment issues, escalation to technical colleagues or project manager as required
  • Following up non-attendance to deployment sessions and re-booking missed deployment sessions
  • Facilitating deployments for customers with occupational health requirements
  • Updating deployment information for the IT support desk and technical teams
  • Quality assurance of the asset tracking and asset system updates processes
  • Administering the disposal arrangements for end of life IT equipment
  • Weekly progress reporting for the project manager

Skills and experience:

  • Admin experience in a busy office or project environment. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willing and positive attitude - well organised and methodical.
  • Flexible and able to take on a variety of tasks at short notice.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to use MS Outlook / O365 for email and meeting scheduling
