As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer supporting my clients wastewater team, you’ll be involved in the initial planning phases of projects, preliminary design, detailed design, and construction services.

As your career develops and grows you’ll gain a deep knowledge of multiple subject areas / disciplines. You’ll be responsible for completing engineering analyses and calculations to design electrical systems for municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Our client often require complex design services, including completion of triple bottom line evaluations, facility assessment and planning, feasibility studies, conceptual designs, detailed designs, and design of electrical building systems. As part of the design process, you will provide technical guidance to drafters/designers, coordinate with multiple project design disciplines for interference checking, ongoing quality control, etc. If you’re up for the challenge, we’ve been looking for someone just like you.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering assignments including investigations, studies, and drawings and specifications for construction

• Supervise construction, testing, and commissioning efforts

• Perform field inspections and monitor construction activities

• Work with others on the design team to ensure a complete and integrated design

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• 5 years’ experience in electrical engineer designExperience designing electrical systems in water and/or wastewater treatment plants
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution for controls and lighting systems, emergency and standby power systems, fire alarm systems, motor control centers, security systems.
