| Description | Planning Policy Manager Esher Initially 6 Month Contract (with possible extension to 2 years) £350 - £500 Per Day Within this role you will manage all work in connection with the Council’s Local Plan and Community Infrastructure Levy spending programme, including liaison with the local community and other Stakeholders, and support the implementation of plans and policies by the Development Management team, working within a culture of continuous improvement and cost-efficiency. The successful candidate must have experience in taking a local plan from inception to examination and a degree in Town & County Planning or equivalent qualification, with Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute being desirable. Significant experience in planning policy and development plan preparation is required together with experience in giving evidence at inquiries and formal hearings, and staff supervision and project management.
