| Description | Senior Communications Officer Morden Temporary Contract (To end of June) £20.49 per hour Within this role you will be responsible for shared line management of digital communications apprentice and communications officer with the senior communications officer and deputising for the Head of Communications. Promoting policies through effective Public Relations, including marketing communications, internal communications and media relations. Ideally you will have a news journalist background or be an experienced press officer with excellent digital and social media experience. Experience of working in the public sector, with internal communications, running campaigns and events would be an advantage, together with experience in the use of computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and a working knowledge of the Internet as well as ability to upload and where relevant, manage content on the website and intranet.
