Training Specialist

Croydon/Oxted

£23,000 per annum + excellent benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading insurance employer in their training team with a purpose to deliver a range of training and development services to inspire staff to achieve their full potential and to support company aims.  Working with stakeholders you will identify, design, deliver and evaluate learning and development solutions across the company, covering induction and softskills training.  Monitoring development and support embedding, ensuring all assessments are passed and training recommendations fulfilled.

What is involved?

  • Deliver the induction programme
  • Deliver the personal effectiveness and system content, delivering requirements
  • Contract with key stakeholders on all delivery activity
  • Complete effective training need analysis for the business providing a detailed report highlighting findings, recommendations and options
  • Design and / or deliver and sign off both classroom and blended learning content which support identified staff development needs, whilst satisfying the Company’s training and competency scheme
  • Maintain the current learning curriculum to ensure all learning is compliant and ready to use
  • Contribute towards maintaining and enhancing the training team’s value to the business, by complying with agreed best practice while applying a critical awareness of current developments in learning
  • Ensure that the learning they design and deliver is accurate, compliant and in line with internal processes
  • Evaluate and report on the business impact of learning activities, contributing to the advancement of the team and the delivery of a high-quality, cost effective service to the business
  • Be able to consult effectively with the business using a toolkit of consultancy skills in order to identify and define client requirements, ensure stakeholder management, influence our stakeholders, encourage the use of effective learning interventions and become a solution provider
  • Facilitate workshops, coach and support the embedding of new skills, knowledge and behaviours
  • Deliver the ICS accreditation process
